"Just the most lovely bed-and-breakfast: a charming spot above Keswick, with a view of Mountains and a bit of lake, beautifully furnished, with luxurious linens, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast. It felt like a gift to stay there."

"The owner made us very welcome on arriving. It was lovely to stay in a well maintained old property (16th century) with great character, with a welcoming open fire in the general sitting / dining area. The bedroom window provided some lovely views of the fells. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Eggs were provided by the free roaming hens in the garden."

Very good breakfast, well organised and friendly staff. Extremely comfortable bed, I had a single room which was enough (only issue I had was no hairdryer,). It was peaceful in"
