This fully renovated, lakefront home is exactly what you need if relaxation and convenience are what you're going after. Blue Water is one of the very, very few houses right on the water and offers a quiet location away from the highway–not something you can find anywhere. The main entrance will lead you straight to the first level of the home. You'll notice right away a convenient elevator that will take wheelchair users right to the second level of the home in the blink of an eye. This level hosts a spacious primary bedroom with wall-to-wall windows that allow guests to admire jaw-dropping beach and water views, direct access to the covered patio, and beachfront desk, and a full, accessible-friendly bathroom. Upstairs is the main living space, which boasts pristine white walls, ample windows that let in plenty of natural light, and gorgeous decor that will delight your eyes the moment you step in here. The living room features an inviting sectional sofa right in front of a flatscreen Smart TV and opens up to a large wrap-around deck with splendid views of Bear Lake, an outdoor dining area, and a gas grill. This spot is complete with all the essentials to treat your loved ones to delicious cookouts. The kitchen boasts all the essentials as well, so cooking will definitely be a breeze thanks to the full-size fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The dining table off the kitchen seats nine. Both bedrooms on this level share access to a screened-in balcony and a full bath. Things to Know No cable. Streaming available. Dog-friendly There is an elevator in the home for wheelchair users only. Snowbird-friendly There are two paddleboards and a two-person kayak for guest use. Please don't use the baseboard heaters, there are floor heaters in every room. High-speed internet and free WiFi, perfect for working from home, distance learning, and streaming. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. After sending pics home to both of their families I believe everyone on both sides will be coming to Bear Lake for a family visit!!!! We had 3 families with 4 kids under 4 years old and it was perfect for us. We put a baby gate at the top of the stairs for piece of mind. The kids played out on the deck all evening. The house was very well stocked with all the necessities (coffee maker and filters, cooking utensils, spices). The rooms are very large and comfortable. Heads-up for people preparing to stay, there is no hose connection on the outside of the house if you need that for an activity. I would definitely stay here again. When the water levels are high, the boat ramp becomes a private ramp and we played on it all day. ##### Lindsey T. And, the house was not clean when we got there, we waited until almost 4:00 and still not clean. We had to go through Vacasa, and finally they got someone in touch with us who sent out emergency cleaning crew. And they said they will reimburse us to go get dinner, etc. Other than that, the house is right on the water, and they had it decorated nicely. However the cleanliness was an issue for our group. We knew this was a pet friendly location but were not prepared for the amount of pet hair on the furniture and in the beds. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless, but the couch was so covered with dog hair we did not sit on it. The beds had dog hair in between the sheets and we had to launder all of the bedding before we felt we could sleep in the beds. We also had to vacuum the floors to rid them of pet hair. It was overall an awesome location and house and we had lots of fun and would rent again! Pros: - Location was perfect/right on the water (given high water level there wasn't a beach right in front of the house but there was a sandbar a 5 min walk away that we set up on and was perfect for our needs) - Dog friendly (our dog had the best time of anyone haha) - Lots of beds - Gorgeous front room with huge windows to admire the amazing view - Awesome deck/outdoor table looking out over lake - Outdoor amenities were great including paddle boards, kayaks, extra beach chairs/towels, and corn hole - Felt very private given the private road and shoulder season - Adequate cookware to make meals Cons: - Endless bugs (dead and alive) in the house during our stay despite bug screens. - Shampoo/conditioner/soap provided were smaller than what a hotel would provide for a place that sleeps 10 ( bring your own) - Ended up having to buy extra toilet paper/paper towels as we ran out with at most 7 people in the home at a time and no extras provided - Attempted to use grill several times and it didn't heat up enough to be usable despite hooking up our own propane tank - Power was out overnight one night we were there (problematic for groceries/breastmilk) - There's a makeshift fire pit we never used, we would've loved an actual fire pit for cooking smores - Lack of AC was not an issue this time of year but would be in summer ##### Alex N.
