No Checks and Balances
I was greeted perfectly when I walked through the door. The desk staff was pleasant. I was given my keys and went up to my room. That is where everything went wrong. I opened the door and walked into my room. The door shut and that is when I realized that I walked into someones room. The TV was on, the ironing board was out, the bathroom light was on and there was a towel on the floor. What a horrible feeling! I quickly left the room and went downstairs. I explained my situation to the front staff and the only comment I received was, "Oh...he should have left this morning." No apologies... I asked for a manager to contact me and still have not received as much as a phone call from the hotel. On top of that, they were cleaning carpets. The second room I walked into was a sauna, with not damp but soaking wet carpet. Besides those 2 issues, the bed was comfortable, the room was pretty spacious and the hotel is positioned near the freeway. The food in the lobby area is also good with a good selection of spirits. As you can see, they have decent amenities but I am extremely concerned with their lack of customer service on both the lobby staff and the manager.

I am extremely sorry to hear what you went through while staying with us. Walking into an occupied room must have been very scary and uncomfortable. It seems that we did not meet your or our expectations during your stay. This has been discussed with the Desk and Housekeeping staff in order to prevent it from ever happening again. Please accept my most sincere apologies and I do hope if you are ever in the Fresno area you will give us another try
