Thought is was kind of pricey for Fresno but work is paying so just happy it was quite. Not much else but that's Fresno for you. Main thing was it was actually quite.

great hotel but reg room not good for some senors

Posted 28-Nov-2017
Pros: No free breakfast but the restaurant in the hotel was nice.
Cons: See above
Really like the hotel but the bathroom in a regular has low toilets with nothing to grab on too to get up. Had to use the restroom in the lobby for that. For those seniors who have trouble getting up from low toilets, this one in our room was the worst. If you want to stay in handicap room, hotel is fine. None available for our stay. Problem could have been mostly solved with a grab bar along side the toilet. I have been in hotels who put them in standard...God bless them for thinking of those that have this problem.

Cons: signage
Only bad things I have to say is about their signage. The hotel sits well back off the road given as their address. There is apparently a parcel of land in front of it that will eventually have something commercial built on it...further obscuring the hotel. There is no sign, arrow or anything to help the traveler find the hotel. They claim that they don't own the property up to the street and therefore can't put a sign out at the street. This should have been considered when negotiating for the parcel they bought. They could have bought it all, if necessary, retained a small easement for a sign and then resold the unneeded remainder. There isn't even a large, well-lit sign on the façade of the hotel. Just a partially burned out name on its front in not large enough letters. This won't be seen at all when something gets built in front of it at the road. The lack of signage is especially aggravating for customers such as me because I had reservations there. I had to find it. Passed it up. Had to fight traffic and unfamiliar streets to get back and start the search all over. Had I not had reservations, I would have ended up getting a room at another hotel.

Noisy and difficult to sleep

Posted 14-Oct-2017
We were there for two days. The first night there was some type of party going on in our area of the hotel which kept us up. The second night the road noise from the highway was really loud.

Disappointed

Posted 25-Sep-2017
Pros: clean
Location: Your location is hard to find
For the price you charged, I expected a lot better. How would you expect anyone to feel when a stranger unlocks your door with suitcase in hand? This is totally inexcusable. Shower adjustment did not work. Cafe was nothing more than a warming station - way overpriced. As were the drinks.

No complaint, everything is as expected. Probably the best hotel in town. Feel safe, clean and comfortable.

The room was nice. My shower had a bit of a funky smell to it. A new shower curtain could take care of the problem.
