Great place to stay in the Keys

Posted 12-Feb-2017
This is a great place to stay in the Lower Keys. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The pool was warm with lots of chairs available. The breakfast was fresh with lots of options. No daily maid service was a plus for us. We prefer not to have staff in our room when we are out. Daily linen and towel exchange is available if you want. They also offered the option to stay on the property on the day of check out if we wanted after check out and even had restrooms and a shower you could use. We will be back our next trip to the Keys.

The hotel is very quiet and peaceful

Posted 09-Feb-2017
The hotel had a good feel to it and a friendly staff. They had a very nice breakfast set up every morning in the common area, which made it very relaxing in the morning, seeing that there was no rush to get any where. Also it was very quiet. A great place to hang out for a week.

What staying in the Florida Keys is all about.

Pros: I've stayed in the Keys many times, this place was the most relaxing and peaceful, a cold drink in my hand and the Sun slowly going down - the best
Location: Best Pizza at the No Name Pub (if you can find it).
Great place to watch the Sun Set over the water. Very well laid out and only a short drive to Key West.

Quiet location beautiful views.

Very much like motel/ cabins resorts for the 70's. Our room was called "Sailfish " and was a ocean front efficiency. Perfect for us. Had a gas stove, full sized fridge, sink, coffee maker, blender and kitchen utensils. Tall bar like kitchen table with 4 chairs, facing large windows facing the docks/ water. Air conditioning with a queen comfortable bed. Flat screen tv with some cable/satellite channels. Bath was tiny, but had medicine cabinet, vanity, toilet and shower. Water pressure was very weak. My only complaint. Resort had a nice heated above ground pool, and free continental breakfast. The staff was super friendly! My husband fished off the docks and caught smaller fish every night. No beach area, but had kayak rentals. Short trip from a great restaurant "Boondocks". 15 mins drive from larger grocery/liquor store.

The view outside was beautiful, only reason I enjoyed this hotel. I loved the hammocks! I was not satisfied with the room at all for the kind of money that was spent. The air conditioner was loud and smelled. The bathroom door was stuck. Bathroom was dirty. The shower had cold water. No tv in the bedroom. Tv in the living room but only two chairs no couch.

Short Stay OK.

Posted 27-Jan-2017
Pros: Staff Quiet location Security
Cons: Re-address the price to the size of the room
Location: Great location with easy drive time to various excursions.
Staff welcoming, easy access to our room and plenty of parking. The resort had onsite security. Breakfast was well supplied. Our room was compact and the price was excessive for the size. The room was well supplied with what we required.

Nice hotel on the water

Posted 26-Jan-2017
Pros: Location
Close enough to Key West for a day trip, without Key West price. Nice for watching the sunrise. Our room was the smallest room we have ever stayed in, anywhere. We made it work, but would book something bigger next time. Good location for boating & experiencing the island vibe. Comfortable bed. Very loud AC unit in room. Well kept property.

Hotel stay

Posted 25-Jan-2017
Pros: Grounds and area was nice
Cons: View was not good. Looked at trailers and what ever else across the street from our balcony.
Location: Drive to Key West in less than 1 hour
Hotel and grounds were nice. Room did not have the view that was shown on website. Own friends that stayed there had the same issue. VERY costly to up grade to another room. Room was clean, we though, until we walked in the room bare foot and found our feet were very dirty. Keep socks or shoes on. No daily room service unless you pay for it. No coffee maker unless you ask for one. Breakfast was very good. The grounds and area where nice. Nice pool.
