If you only need a place to crash...

Posted 12-Feb-2017
If you only need a place to sleep and shower, you are ok in this place. However other than that, choose another property. I will next time. There is a Fairfield across the street. The place is really a dump and we heard from another guest they are bulldozing it within the next 8 months to build a parking garage, probably a good idea.

Key West

Posted 11-Feb-2017
We were upgraded to one of the cabana rooms. It was very spacious with a kitchenette, living room and a separate bedroom. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The other furniture needed an update. The night stands were in poor shape. The lampshades were torn. But overall it was a decent room. But beware of the rooster!!!! It starts up at 2:00 in the morning.

Kleines, in die Jahre gekommenes Ressort

Posted 06-Feb-2017

Great seasonal rate, pretty grounds, room dirty

Posted 31-Jan-2017
Pros: Balcony view of the pool and Bay, and lush landscaping.
Cons: Light fixtures and sinks need updating.
Location: We didn't do anything nearby, only ordered a pizza from a hotel room menu card and that was the best pizza I've had in a long time.
First I'd like to note that we had to book a Hotel room, in January, for a 2 nights' stay (Sat. & Sun.) at the last minute for a family reunion in downtown Key West. We knew the hotel had a 3-star rating. The front desk guy was very nice and parking was ample. The ice machine was right downstairs. The pool and surroundings were beautiful and lush. The room had all that we needed: tv, mini fridge, mircrowave, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, soap, etc. and an excellent view of the pool and Bay. The bed was super comfortable, but upon closer review of the room, there were cobwebs up near the ceiling, and the lamp shades were dirty, with half the light bulbs being burned out (even in the bathroom) but still in place. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the mirror was smeared, but the towels were clean, as were the sheets on the bed, and soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner were supplied. Coffee was also supplied and they offer a continental breakfast with danish, rolls, juice (I think) and coffee. It wasn't so bad that I would not stay there again, but a few simple details (like the light bulbs) were overlooked. The room could use some updating and the carpeting cleaned. We took taxis most of the time and that is THE WAY TO GO since the streets are so narrow and people are everywhere. Since the room provided us with being able to take a clean shower and get a good-night's sleep, it was quite sufficient. We didn't use the pool but it looked amazing!

Posted 24-Jan-2017
Pros: The pool and surrounding area. The patio for breakfast was great
Cons: Need to update rooms no working phone, curtains were coming off the rod, refrigerator did not work and could not use drawers due to mildew smell
Location: Great location near downtown but far enough away for quite and relaxation
Jason very friendly and helpful. He gave us good directions and times and places to see the sights. Enjoyed the chairs along the waterfront for relaxing.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced

Posted 24-Jan-2017
Pros: It was clean and quiet.
Cons: Updates, painting
The hotel was clean and in a nice, quiet location. It has not been updated, but the room and bed was comfortable and the price was great compared to other hotels in Key West. The pool area is very nice and there is a nice beach area that overlooks the gulf.

Located by water

Posted 23-Jan-2017
Pros: We saw it looking for something medium priced on Expedia.
Cons: The ad should be updated.
Location: It's located about midway on the island of keywest.
The hotel was probably really nice at one time. The ad says it has a beach, a tiki bar, and a restaurant. None of these exsist. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Okay for a night or two. Not a destination resort as implied.

Pros: Quiet location
Cons: Update hotel
Very nice older hotel, quiet location. Wish something could be done about the chickens on the island, lol
