Everything was great - except for the shower
The hotel was our hub for a 3 day trip. It is so centrally located that we could essentially get to any location (with the exception of the Michelangelo Plaza) within 15 minutes of walking.
The rooms were spacious and the decor transported us back to ideas of the Renaissance periods of Italy. The beds were more than adequate to support my wife and I and we had plenty of storage for our bags and the items we purchased throughout our trip.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring we had all the maps, information, and recommendations we needed to have a great time. They held our bags during our early check-in and upon returning they had taken them up to our room for us without us even asking. As we came and went, we were greeted pleasantly and asked if we needed anything. English was fluent and appreciated by us - but obviously not necessary. They would even humor us during our attempts to speak in Italian.
I have seen some negative feedback on the breakfast, but I cannot comment on that. We opted to venture out every day for all of our meals and snacks but they had a fridge that was stocked full of drinks and cold snacks.
The only thing that I found a bit lacking was the shower. It was ~2.5 x 3.0 feet and barely accommodated my wife or myself. My wife is 5'4" and 120# and constantly hit the walls. I am 6'2" and 185# and barely fit shoulder-width into the shower. However, we were able to adequately clean ourselves and it had an adjustable head with a hand wand
