"WE TOTALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE LIGHTHORSEMAN - HAD A LOVELY QUITE ROOM WITH LOVELY REFURBISHED LARGE BATHROOM WHICH WAS SUPER CLEAN BED COMFORTABLE - HAD ONE BREAKFAST FIRST MORNING WAS LOVELY -IN WALKING DISTANCE OF CENTRE OF YORK, BUT ALSO ON A BUS ROUTE WHICH WE USED A LOT COS MY HUSBAND WAS RECOVERING FROM SURGERY & CANCER TREATMENT, SO DIDNT WANT TO DO A LOT OF WALKING , IT WAS PERFECT FOR THE BUS & ONLY £2.00 INTO TOWN EACH - IT WAS A LOVELY STAY & WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF, BARMAIDS WERE LOVELY & OWNER DAN SUPER FRIENDLY CHEERS XXXXXXX"
