IBIS was closed so we were very kindly upgraded to the Grand for no extra cost and what an upgrade If you've booked while the ibis is being refurbished then definitely make sure you answer your phone to ensure the transfer goes through as you could miss it (call comes from leeds for some reason!)

Booked this hotel back in January and took my money. Through sheer luck, I decided to check the hotel and discovered it was closed. Expedia also had no idea. Luckily, I was able to be transferred to a different hotel but I had no contact from this hotel to tell me. If I hadn’t had checked, I would have turned up to a closed hotel.
