This is a lovely villa, we have been coming to Calis for 14 years and we know the area well. The villa is perfect for families - non slip tread strips on the marble stairs, stairgates etc. The big pool is great, and there is a slightly smaller pool very near the villa which we had pretty much to ourselves the whole fortnight! Next door is a really nice Turkish Restaurant/Hotel Dost, they do take away food there, Pides and Pizzas were excellent and also the Lamb Shish and Chicken, all served with a lovely salad. If you prefer your meals slightly more English, then Guvens, a small walk, is excellent and Carol is a great host and always worth having a chat with. You can hire bikes easily and the cycling is pretty much on flat promenades, so you can cycle to Fethiye easily if you want. The Dolmus stops outside the complex, buying the bus cards is a good idea if you use it a lot. You can walk from the villa along the Calis Beach prom with a variety of Restaurants that vary from very Turkish (my personal favourites) to very English, there is a strong expat community there so getting a Sunday Roast is easy!! The wifi is fast and smart TV excellent, but remember it is Turkey and everything can be a little quirky at times so be patient, you are not in the middle of a big city! Sharon has mentioned the Jiva club, generally this doesn't affect the villa, you can hear it in the distance but it's not a major problem. Ocaasionally at a special event they turn it up, but it still fiishes at 11.30. Bayram was excellent, he arrived when and where he should and his team were great, we have met some who weren't trust me! Thoroughly reccomend the villa, we shall certainly be going back either later this year or next.
