Nice, Quiet, Comfortable Inn

My husband and I were working on a project at Hopewell Furnace and wanted the closest hotel possible. While our fatigue may have had something to do with it -- the bed and bedding was truly the most compfortable we have EVER slept in at any hotel anywhere. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Staff and innkeeper were friendly and helpful at all times, restaurant and bar were great also.

WOW Place To Stay!

This is a lovely inn in a rural setting and we loved it. The Inn Keeper and the restaurant Wait Staff were outstanding. We felt more like we were staying in the home of a good friend than in a hotel. It is a near perfect spot for a harried couple to grab a weekend away. Lots of stuff to do nearby.

outstanding hotel

A wonderful hotel with a fabulous proprietor who even kept the kitchen open to serve us cheese burgers on the balcony-it was like cheese burgers in paradise! The rooms are beautifully decorated and open to lovely porches with a view of the waterfall-very relaxing and a must for people trying to rest and enjoy the beautiful sights close to the hotel. We will be back! Remember to get directions to the hotel from their website, not from map quest or a GPS-a little hard to find, but well worth the effort!
