Hadde et greit opphold. Hotellet bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold og mangler litt på modernisering. Vegger og tak er betongkonstruksjon, men det er likevel lytt inn til naborom og opp til et bråkete aktivitetsrom. Sengene bar også preg av alderen, med knakende tresenger og madrass fra 80-tallet. Rengjøringen var ok, men håndklær ble ikke byttet til dag 2\. Valdres Høyfjellshotell ligger i nydelige omgivelser, men veiene inn dit er forferdelige. Vi ble tatt imot av en hyggelig betjening. Frokostsalen var stor og fin, men der måtte vi sortere for å finne rene tallerkener og bestikk. Frokosten var enkel. Grei varmmatt med pytt i panne, egg og bacon. Av kjøttpålegg var det kun kokt skinke. Frokosten var fra 08.00 men for eksempel egg og bacon og tomat og agurk kom ikke frem før kl var nærmere 08.30 og da var vi ferdig med frokosten. Reiste derifra med vond rygg etter ei natt i dårlige senger.
