The location can't be beat. Right in the Born neighborhood, a short walk to the beach or the Gothic quarter. Great restaurants just downstairs in the same building. It's a small set of rooms - the elevator opens right into the room.
The room is nothing special. It was very small. There is a balcony, but it was small and was used to store cleaning supplies. You'd be able to walk out onto it without the cleaning supplies there, but, as is, there's not enough room to walk out onto it. There were ants in the room. Very little shower pressure. Shower door was missing it's handle. No toiletries. No safe. The room is only cleaned after your stay, not daily. Three stars seems like a stretch to me. Good wifi though.
You have to go to a separate office to check in. It's not far, so no big deal, except the check-in communication was a little off. We were early, but were told the room would be ready at 1:30. We got our keys at 2:30 and walked about 10 minutes to the room. It was still being cleaned. We were told to come back at 3pm. Not a big deal, but a little poorly managed.
