Ueckermünde lies directly on the south bank of the Szczecin Lagoon. Quiet and nature-pur can be enjoyed on tours through the extensive hiking and cycling trails through the beautiful heathland and woodland. A short trip by bicycle or even "on foot" brings you to sailing opportunities, rowboats, and pedalos, mini-golf course and the swimming at the beach with beach chair rentals. Also for the physical well-being is taken care of there. Anglers will find for your hobby especially on the Uecker good conditions. Boat trips to Szczecin, Swinoujscie, Kamminke and the island of Usedom is also part of the program. The Szczecin Lagoon: Ueckermünde is located on the so-called. Little Lagoon. Here the water is only slightly salty. Upstream are the islands of Usedom, Wollin and Kaseburg. The inlets Dziwna, Swine and the Peenestrom form the connection between the Szczecin Lagoon and the open Baltic Sea. Peene, Zarow, Uecker and the Oder flow from the land side at Stettin into Haff. The shores are mostly overgrown with reeds and shallow. In some places, as in Kamminke or on hooks at Altwarp Repziner there are beautiful cliffs. So - pure nature! Wie hatten wirklich tolle, erholsame und ruhige Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung und auf dem Grundstück. Es war sauber und alles da was man zum Leben braucht im Urlaub. Das frühstücken auf der Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen und auch die Bahngleise bzw. der Zug der regelmäßig dort vorbei fährt hat nicht gestört. Auch auf der Toilette war mehr als genug Platz ;-) selbst wenn man etwas kräftiger gebaut ist. Also für uns ein rundum gelungener Urlaub und bei Gelegenheit würden wir immer gerne wieder kommen. Der Bungalow ist modern, geschmackvoll und hell eingerichtet: Tolles Ecksofa zum Faulenzen, flauschige Handtücher, Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern, alles da, was man braucht, alles bestens. Das Schönste ist aber die Terrasse, einfach ein Traum: Sehr groß, teilweise geschlossen, also windgeschützt, mit Wein bewachsen, großer Tisch, bequeme Gartenstühle mit sehr guten Polstern, duftender Holzfußboden, eine bunte Hängematte lädt zum Schaukeln ein, abends gemütliche indirekte Beleuchtung. Wir haben eigentlich die zwei Wochen nur draußen 'gewohnt', vom Frühstück bis zum zu Bett gehen. Auch wenn es vielleicht mal nieselte oder der Himmel trüb war, haben wir draußen gesessen. Manchen Tag hatten wir gar keine Lust etwas zu unternehmen, weil es auf der Terrasse so schön war, wir konnten uns gar nicht losreißen. Nach Ueckermünde kann man bequem auf einem sehr guten, von der Straße separierten Radweg fahren. Auch sonst kann man hier in der Gegend wunderbare Radtouren machen. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und mit Büschen und Bäumen bewachsen. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, sind sehr nett, immer da, wenn man sie braucht, ansonsten aber zurückhaltend. Die in der Nähe des Hauses verlaufende Bahnstrecke hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört, der Regionalzug fährt nur tagsüber stündlich, nicht nachts. Man kann auch bei Regenwetter die Abende gut draußen verbringen. Wir hatten einen Radurlaub geplant und hatten mit dem Wetter etwas Pech. Da war es gut die nassen Sachen zum Trocknen aufhängen zu können. Innen ist auch alles sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Alles da was man so braucht. Die Beschreibung im Internet isr korrekt. Absolute Ruhe und Erholung kann man hier finden. Der Zug der gelegentlich vorbeifährt hat uns nicht gestört. Auch der Vermieter war wirklich sehr nett. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten findet man in der Nähe. Schöne Strände am Haff, gut geeignet für Familien mit kleinen Kindern, da das Haff sehr flach ist.
