Great base for hiking, trip to Mesa Verde, scenic drives and Durango Hotsprings. The main downside was the bar across the street which played very loud music on Friday and Saturday nights. Obviously this is out of the property owners control. Fortunately, the provided sound machine really helped. The property is just as advertised. The bar across the street was not too loud and I was there over a weekend. It isn't going to be perfectly quiet, as it is in the center of downtown. The host really took the time to make sure the bed was extremely comfortable, the towels were very absorbant and all the necessities such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps were provided. Very nice attention to detail. Really appreciated the supply of coffee and everything needed in the kitchen. The ambience is friendly and relaxing. ##### Andrea A.
