Booked a double room with breakfast.
Arrived to find room really cold, 14.5 degrees on the thermostat. Heating didn’t work. No duvet, just thin blankets. Place wasn’t clean and hadn’t been cleaned for some time. No way of contacting anyone except for leaving an answerphone message, to which I never received a reply. Arrived too late in the day to be able to find alternative accommodation elsewhere and so had to stay and suffer the cold. To cap it all there was no breakfast. Emailed various times and also sent a recorded delivery letter but received no reply. Make no mistake, this place used to be good but now, it is abysmal. The good reviews are very out of date. The bad service is nothing to do with COVID. There is no excuse.
