Jennifer, the owner, was a delight to talk to and a great host. Barry also was a great host. We definitely will stay again on our next trip. The Birds Nest has the charm and warmth created by the location and Jennifer.

Between the pastures and the estuary the the two rooms at the Birds Nest are simply wonderful. The beds comfortable and the breakfast is what you make of it.. Literally, as guests can make their own if they wish. But best of all is the owner of this 17th century house, which resembles and Alice in the Looking Glass set,, who is erudite and wonderful. Right next door to an award winning pub its a quiet and scenic treat
