Luxury Service & Comfort Paired w/ Incredible View
My wife and I stayed here our first night in Ireland. Our only regret is that we only stayed the one night.
The room was delightful and very comfy. We had a king-sized bed and a splendid view of Dun Laoghaire Harbour. We awoke the next morning to an incredible sunrise (see photo). The full breakfast was well worth the price and it filled us up for most of the day as we headed west into the country. There is a dedicated parking garage, which is fully validated. Very convenient. And we also enjoyed a late dinner at Hardy's Bar after checking in. The food and service were both great (treat yourself to the house club sandwich).
My wife and I agree that we will definitely be coming back to stay at Royal Marine again (and we'll be sure to request a room with a view again). There is a lot nearby the hotel too that we want to explore, including walking about the harbour and visiting the National Maritime Museum. And the fact that the hotel has been host to the likes of Charlie Chaplin, [Stan] Laurel & [Oliver] Hardy (for whom Hardy's Bar is named), and Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, is an added bonus.
