Comfortable and spacious hotel

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Pros: Spacious room. Very clean.
Cons: The room service food was rather disappointing. The atmosphere was more impersonal than expected.
Overnight stay was very comfortable and restful. Nice situation close to the harbour. Dramatic building with history.

Best hotel location in South Dublin

Posted 22-Jul-2016
My wife and I have been staying here every Summer for over 18 years on trips home to Ireland from Dallas Texas to visit family. I consider it a home from home and one of the best hotels to stay at in South Dublin. Location sea views and facilities are unbeatable value. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunlaoghaire Dalkey area. Easy access to Dublin City on Dart rail line.

Nice hotel close to the promenade.

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: The check in was quick, many thanks to Steven.
Cons: The air conditioner had a ticking noise that need to be adjusted.
Location: The walk on the promenade was all we had time for it was memorable.
We had a room on the top floor with an excellent view. This room had a soaker tub and shower. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. All around good stay.

A bit dated, but in a great location

Posted 13-Jul-2016
Pros: a nice old feel free parking, and a handy location for eating and some minor shopping
Cons: room furniture, and carpet
Location: dining and walking
The old laminate was coming of the 70s funiture when i walked in the room. Water pressure was low and couldnt really get more then warm water. Beds are comfy and staff was helpful. But bar could use some more stafff at dinner time ...I walked out twice because I was never waited on

Great hotel--Short drive from action/Ocean view

Posted 30-Jun-2016
Pros: Everything! It was very clean. Great views of the ocean!
Cons: Having room service open later.
Location: Bars, restaurants, shopping and coffee are all within walking distance. Great view of the ocean. Head down to the bay to collect sea glass!
The hotel is located about 15 minutes by car from the city center. Great location to avoid the traffic noise and smog that city's typically have. The drive was pleasant to and from every location. We went into the center of Dublin frequently, went to Cork, and up to Northern Ireland with no problem. The hotel staff was very friendly. Elevators are small, but get the job done. Parking on-site is FREE. Room service closes at 10 p.m. during the week and 9 p.m. on Sundays. However, the hotel allows for delivery and there are quite a few options they will suggest for you. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant--delicious food. While traveling, I was still breastfeeding/pumping and due to only having a mini fridge, I could not refreeze my icepacks for day trips. However, I simply asked the bar for a bag of ice and they were quick to get it for me so I could keep my milk cold during the day. They were quite accommodating. Offered suggestions on activities and warned of early closings of restaurants in Dublin. Right outside the hotel is a Starbucks and a mini shopping mall. A few restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel staff and Irish LOVE babies :) Everyone was so pleasant.

Pros: Räumlichkeiten und Ausstattung
Schöne Lage mit Blick auf Hafen. Trotzdem ruhig.

Luxury Hotel

Posted 28-May-2016
Pros: The hotel was brilliant and we would definitely come back
Cons: Nothing
Location: There are plenty of eating places and I just wish we had more time to explore the town. We took the train to Dublin. So convenient
The room and view out to the sea was fantastic. Internet connectivity and tea and coffee making facilities with a wee fridge for milk - brilliant! A really comfy bed and lovely and peaceful.
