3/5 Okay

Wish we would have stayed somewhere else
I really did not like the location. It is near Guinness and we have never stayed over there and I am not sure we would again for this price. It seemed really overpriced for the location. Not a bad neighborhood but not lovely. We had 7 guests, my husband and me and 5 grown children (ages 20-12). The one thing we really needed was working bathrooms. We could not get the hot water to work from the shower ---EVER-- we all had to take baths in one bathroom which took forever. The knobs on the showers faucets continuously came off during bathing. The managers were attentive but the solutions (told us to use a butter knife and adjust something on the wall) did not fix the problem. I actually had to get a hotel room down the street just to shower. The apartment is cute, well designed but not worth the money. We stay in Dublin every winter either as part of an Ireland trip or as a layover to somewhere else. This was the worst place we have stayed. Be warned if you have young kids the stairs are very steep (it was not a problem for us but with young kids it may be a problem). Overall, it was not terrible, not anywhere near the best.

Comfortable, convenient and lots of stairs
Overall very comfortable. Easy bus line into town or to the train station. Or just a 20-30 minute walk. The steps are tight, so be prepared. Ground floor is an open floor plan with lounge and kitchen/dining area. On the first floor to the right is a bedroom with a double bed. In the hall is a full bath. To the left is an office/loft bedroom. Step down 2 stairs into the office/loft and you'll find a futon and a desk; above that, up a flight of stairs, is a loft with a double bed. (We had the office/loft room and left our luggage in the area with the futon and used that as a dressing room.) On the second floor up a very narrow set of steps is a double bed with an ensuite full bathroom.

5/5 Excellent

Three floors of family fun
Place was as charming as photos depicted. Pleasant, clean comfortable stay. Location worked well enough for us with minimal traffic. Well appointed kitchen with inviting dining alcove. Pdtio even equipped with clothesline

Great house, poor management
The house is lovely and in a great location! Plenty of space, beautifully decorated, very comfortable. BUT, one set of sheets was dirty, there weren’t any extra sheets for the other beds, only two rolls of toilet paper for a family of five! Usually, VRBOs have a little sheet telling you about the neighborhood- recommended restaurants, nearest grocer, transit info, etc. We got nothing but the combo to the lock box with the key. I was told to text the management person when we arrived to see when we might be able to check-in. He told me he’d check and get back to me. Two hours later, I texted again, he said we could drop off our bags, but the house wouldn’t be ready for some time. Meanwhile, we’ve just been waiting. Yes, we were tired and wanted a nap, but really I just wanted a definite time!

4/5 Good

Great place, though a few minor issues
This is a nice house, in a quieter, less touristy part of town - a few 100 meters from the Guinness brewery. Well set up and equipped, and very clean. We had some issues with the water (no hot water, no showers) and it took 24 hours to fix. Having said that, once the issue was figured out it was remedied and it is not likely to be a problem for future visitors. As well, a few of the pans don't appear to work on the induction cooktop, so if you're having problems you many need to try another pan. Overall a nice place. Iron out the few bugs and it would be a great place.
