Booked this weekend break at the last minute. We were very impressed with our accommodation. The layout of our room in the courtyard was very impressive. Just a short walk to the dinning area for breakfast. Breakfast was very well presented and the right temperature so that it was very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and helped us very much to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back.

The quality of breakfast is highly unusual, with the best of ingredients cooked to perfection. The choice is equally impressive. A lovely old pub sits next door, The Swan with Two Nicks and the wonderful Dunham Massey estate is a ten minute stroll away, across open country. Wonderful !

Tucked away in a little hamlet, this delightful guest house is a gem of a find. Everything is well maintained, beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was as good as it gets, all personally served at the table in the large modern kitchen diner. The staff were kind, helpful and with a good degree of local knowledge. There is a hot tub in the garden and just steps away from the local pub which serves good food. We have no hesitation in saying you will be very happy to stay there....

Simon gave us excellent advice on how to get to a site where we had stayed 42 yrs ago, the hotel was demolished a number of yrs ago and we followed his recommendation of the location of a high quality cafe on the way. The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure.
