We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the whole carriage was spacious and clean. Plenty of tea coffe etc. only recommendation would be a higher table so u could sit and eat without bending over. Breakfast in the restaurant was fresh and tasty with lots of nice touches. Would love to stay here again. Loved it. A really interesting, quirky and special place. We stayed in a Pullman 'room' which was comfortable, warm and cosy. The carriage had been converted brilliantly and retained its historic features. The station building also had been converted/renovated to a high standard and again retained historic references, tastefully done. Breakfast, cooked 'just for you' was excellent and was eaten in the old waiting room which had a lovely ambiance.
