"The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"We had a lovely stay at Shepherds Barn, we went for the Goodwood horse races and because of its location, the property was perfect for us. Everything was really clean and in great condition. The surroundings were beautiful. It was great to also have a little kitchen to make our own breakfast in the morning. "

"James was great at communicating and very helpful. Even posted back to us a couple of small things we had left at the house. The house is as described. the bed in the main bedroom the only one we used was very comfortable. Despite being horrible weather the house was always warm and the heating was easy to control. It lived up to that and much more, even in the cold wet weather the location and home was perfect, We was kept very warm and Cosy in this property it really was home for home. I’ve lived to Chichester previously and the property is in what I would call a “Goldilocks zone” - walking distance without the hassle of being inside the city walls. The property itself has serious history - combining an 1800's 2-up, 2-down with a very nice modern refurb and extension. It is light and airy inside, well appointed, very clean and spacious. Beyond the lovely very private garden, there is an off-street parking...
