"We enjoyed staying at this hotel within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good hot food, cereal, croissants etc. One issue was Dalhousie St close by the hotel this street seem to have quite a few druggies so we avoided it. "

We were woken up early by building work every day on week days and the facilities we thought were linked to the hotel did not exist. "Check in was fine. We arrived around 3:00 pm, but our room was not ready, so apparently we were given an upgrade. Not sure what the upgrade was, we were on a floor that was being modified, and it appeared we were the only ones there. We did have a balcony and sliding door, but they were in bad shape. The room though was spacious, had an extra lounge chair and it was very clean. Just do not have a Buffet Breakfast at the ground floor. For two of us, it was almost $75. Totally ridiculous. "The hotel is very central, 2-3 minutes walk to CF Rideau Centre. It is at walking distance from the Parliament Hill. Tons of food and shopping options. The front desk staff were friendly. Good room service. The large pool was a plus. We'll definitely prefer to stay here again when visiting Ottawa. "
