Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan. Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day. Efficient and customer focused. They offer airport transfer all day log almost.How do they not have 5 stars... I would have stayed there during my holiday had it to been so far

Perfect location and great staff. Our room was on 38th floor so we had fantastic views and the noise below wasnt an issue. The one gripe we had was the lack of clothing storage. Just one small rail with 4 or 5 hangers and nowhere to put our suitcases. We would still definitely recommend Hotel Groove Shinjuku to anyone in spite of this.

The customer service at this hotel was impeccable. It was in a great location in a quiet neighbourhood, which suited us. It was a two minute walk from Gaiemmae metro station which is on the very handy Ginza line. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our questions and phoned onward hotels for us when we had questions. The room was clean and had excellent amenities. Thoroughly recommend!

Very clean and convenient hotel. The room was spacious and the facilities excellent. Breakfast at the hotel was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of good restaurants and dining options nearby as well.

Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc.

Would stay again. The staff were so helpful and nice. Great coffee from the machine and nice to have it on the terrace in the morning. Useful toiletries to pick up at the desk. Comfortable bed. Fridge kettle etc everything you need for a city break.

We were so pleased we booked this hotel for the night before our very early flight. Not only was the hotel incredibly convenient for the airport, it provided a bit of luxury before our flight home. We had a large and beautiful room and everything we could have needed, including complimentary toiletries and drinks and a wonderful view for plane nerds! The staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

What a hotel! We stayed here for our final 3 nights in Tokyo, we were going to do 1 but decided to stay the 3 because we wanted to feel settled. They let us check in at 11:30am at no extra cost because it was quiet, our room was spacious and really modern and the shopping area and restaurant area had lots to choose from. Getting into Tokyo was so easy and it was so handy when leaving to be able to grab a trolley and go straight to departures! Highly recommend this hotel

I stayed here for my first 3 nights in Tokyo. The hotel is modern, clean, and located about one minute's walk away from a subway station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff spoke limited English (just as I speak limited Japanese) but did their best to help; I used Google Translate a few times, which helped both I and the staff. Breathtaking view of Tokyo station tracks and moving trains if choosing a railway viewing room. Reception staff are very professional and speak English well. Rooms are very clean with high standard amenities. JR bus service provides direct return transport at 1500 Yen/Adult single trip to the station which directly connects to the hotel. Minimum efforts for travellers. Abundant choice of restaurants and Daimaru department at the station are very handy.

Great hotel in lovely neighbourhood

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Many amenities available for all guests. Secure access to the lifts to rooms. Ice cold water available on the floor of the rooms which was a huge bonus. English was available in every way we needed it available. Cleaning was scheduled using your TV which enabled you to request no cleaning/ eco cleaning and a full clean of your room, all of which could be requested up to 9am the same day, which is a fantastic service.
