Saga Vacation Packages
Do visit the Saga Castle while you are in Saga.
When it comes to getting the best bang for your buck from your vacation, it's worth remembering that Saga is just the tip of the iceberg; Saga has been blessed with an abundance of fabulous things to see and do. If you're looking for other places to check out, you'll find Nankan, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northwest, and Arao 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northwest.
Around 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the north of Saga is Fukuoka, a regional city where you can visit Kego Shrine, Maizuru Park and Fukuoka Municipal Zoo and Botanical Garden. Higashi Koen, Big Air Fukuoka and Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome are more attractions that should be included on every visitor's list.
The real meaning of a place resides not only within its scenery, but also upon its native tongue. Taking the time to learn just a few useful Japanese words and phrases will make your visit to Saga infinitely richer. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" translates to "Would you like to dance with me?" And "Benjo wa doko desu ka?", which means "Where's the toilet?"
Good things must come to an end, but be rest assured, when it's time to say "Sayōnara" to Saga, you'll be leaving with photos, memories and mementos to remember your time here.
