If the thing you wanna do at your hostel is relaxing, this hostel is definitely suit for that. The dim light is perfect to calm me down. The song is really good. Everything is perfect. I bet I will go there again if I go to Tokyo again.

"Close to Shinjuku Station"
I thought the single room will be very small and crampy. To my surprise, its just right for me (but I think can fit another person in). I need to put a disclaimer here that I am not very picky and particular so long its comfortable and clean enough. The airport limousine bus stops directly at the hotel.

"Best spot to start your travels"
Plonking yourself down in a new city like tokyo can be quite nerve wracking. This hotel made the transition easy peqsy. The front desk staff speak a great mixture of Japanese and english so its possible to get all the info you need to calm your racing mind. The male only cabins were as cosy and sometimes noisy as expected , the showers and toilets were modern and clean, and the breakfast was awesome ( try the raw egb over rice with snotty soybeans if you like a challenge in the mornings. Otherwise akasaka station is just around the corner (i used exit 2 a lot) and there is all types of amazing food and drink to relax to at night. There is even a fugu (puffer fish) restaurant accross the road. Loved the hotel. Will be back next time.

"Very Good Hotel in Central Location"
As everywhere in Tokyo, hotel rooms are small, but the rooms here are well decorated, clean and well equipped (including fridge, coffee/tea-making facilities and comprehensive toiletries), also humidifier, controllable air conditioning, wifi, wlan. A big plus for me - you can open the window to let in fresh air! Good mattress. Huge TV screen (too large for the room IMO) and you have to pay for watching anything at all, but I didn't come to Tokyo to watch TV, so I didn't care. Breakfast: lots of good Japanese food plus everything to make a fresh salad; the European foods (croissants, canned clementine segments, sweet, very fatty toast and sweet yoghurt) could be healthier and more natural for me (I'd have loved some wholegrain bread and cereal), but I just had salad instead. Excellent access to Narita Airport (the end station for the Keisei Skyliner is just across the street; it's the Keisei-Ueno Station, not to be confused with the much larger Ueno Station, which is a further 6 minutes on foot ). In walking distance from several nice places - Ueno Park with many museums and monuments, Asakusa with temples, amusement park and shopping (traditional crafts and modern stuff), Yanaka Ginza, a lovely quaint traditional neighbourhood and so forth. From the Ueno Station access to everything else - very good location altogether. The daily housekeeping did not seem to include cleaning the bathroom; I could have done without new towels every day (for environmental reasons).

"Simple place to crash for a night or two"
Really good location and nice staff. Rooms are comfortable. Only complaint is moldy smell from the bathroom...was pretty bad actually. I noticed there was an earlier review stating the same thing so the staff obviously haven't paid attention to this. Hope they address it.

Would highly recommend, good location. Unfortunately you can hear all noises from the common rooms, it is ok though if you go to bed at midnight when it quiets down.
