Upon arrival as were asked if we were interested in upgrading to a family suite, which we declined thinking the original room we had booked would fit our needs. When we arrived at the room the ceiling was leaking and the room smelt of mold. The shower was also open to the rest of the room through clear glass, making for an awkward situation being we were there with our fifteen year old daughter. When my husband went back to the front desk it became apparent the gentleman working was wanting to make a cash deal to be paid directly to himself in order to move us to a better room. He completed a form saying we had complained about the room, pocketed the few hundred dollars he charged us, and we were able to move to a much larger room without a leak. It was very apparent that the employees were only interested in receiving compensation from guests and were not otherwise interested in creating a welcoming or positive experience.
