I was definitely unimpressed with the hotel food options that they had. They have several restaurants inside the hotel. The restaurants are very low volume as far as the amount of food that they give you the drinks are very watered down. I don’t know what kind of liquor they use, but it’s bottles that I’ve never seen before. The pools are nice. The best thing about the whole hotel was probably the buffet that they have once a day for breakfast. They have another buffet for dinner sometimes I didn’t understand why they only have it like two days a week I felt like it was well maintained the property however I felt like the food and the drinks were very minimal. I would give it 2 1/2 stars for the food and drinks over five.

LIVE Aqua is a great, adults only resort that I would stay at again! Yes they are clean and have so many different amenities and activities, but what separates this resort from the rest is their staff. I came to DR alone and injured my foot during an excursion. The staff at the hotel didn't think twice about providing me with any assistance I needed, such as providing a wheelchair and walker to help shower and get around. Carlos is the supervisor there and made sure to check on me after my accident daily to ensure I was okay and offered comfort. Being in a different country by yourself is already scary just off the thought. Imagine that and then getting injured, surrounded in the hospital, trying to grasp what is happening, but not being able to speak the native language nor understand. That was the scariest part of it all and I would not have been able to make it the rest of my trip without the help of such a caring staff. My utmost blessings to them

The pools were beautiful, clean, warm, not too chlorine-heavy. The chairs were comfortable and easy to use. the towels were huge and soft and easily accessible. Excelente servicio de casi todo el personal , hay algunas personas como el staff de entretenimiento, los del restaurante Miraflores, los del bufete , recepción, spa , que se llevan las palmas , mis respetos para el excelente trabajo que hacen . Únicamente tuvimos un inconveniente con un mesero de nombre José Luis , pero los detalles de los sucedido se los mandaré directamente al hotel, ya que fue irrespetuoso . En fin, felicitaciones a todo el staff, hacen que uno no se quiera ir nunca del hotel. Gracias por hacer de nuestras vacaciones algo increíble.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall experience at Live Aqua. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Our room was impeccably clean and serviced twice daily. The attention to detail was outstanding,we were comfortable walking barefoot throughout the room. There were no musty or damp odors; instead, everything smelled fresh, like a spa or freshly cleaned linens. The coffee shop was exceptional. The ham sandwiches were delicious, and the staff made the experience even more special by remembering my order each day. The bartenders were equally friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were consistently excellent. We dined at every restaurant except Atl, and the food was fantastic throughout the resort. Our favorites were the Mediterranean restaurant, the Seafood Shack, the hibachi restaurant, and the hot wings served at the central bar. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The nightly entertainment was another highlight of our stay. The theater shows were engaging and professionally performed, with talented singers and dancers who kept us entertained every evening. During the day, there were games, activities, and a DJ by the pool, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere. The beach was beautiful and had very little seaweed compared to what is typical for resorts in July. It was clear that the resort works hard to maintain the beachfront with daily cleanup efforts. Live Aqua gets an A!

Honestly, I prefer stuff over resorts. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are all incredibly warm and welcoming. We spent 8 days there, and our mornings always started with Deyanira's delicious coffee at Cool Fever. She is just so kind and makes the best iced coffee in the world. Over those 8 days, we became like sisters. Deyanira would always pack us sweets and sandwiches whenever we went out, and we would end our days at Compton St. Bar sipping on Angela's cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but Angela always knew the perfect drink to recommend. Every visit, she would ask us what we were in the mood for. Aracelis is another gem, treating us like family and suggesting the best dishes every time we dined at Seishin. Our first encounter was with the hilarious and helpful Mister Super Tony. I can't remember the name of the front desk guy who was there during the day, but everyone we encountered, including the housekeeping staff, was so friendly, helpful, and treated us like family. They are all truly amazing.

The room was clean but you can notice that it’s always a quick clean. There may be some spots that are rusty perhaps but not dirty. The staff was amazing, friendly, fun, and very helpful. I do not recommend booking any excursions at the resort I had lots of problems because of that. The pools are nice as well as the bars. The Japanese restaurant was my favorite but the buffet was ok. I did not get to try all of the restaurants on site but highly recommend the Japanese restaurant (forgot the name of it). Activities at the resort were also amazing and entertaining. I think the resort is more for couples but I did get to meet other solo travelers there which was nice.
