"The property was beautiful but not well cleaned in certain areas The room was nice,however we had an issue with a clogged toilet that we reported and because it was neglected by maintenance for two days (though we kept bringing it to their attention) we ended up with an entire room being flooded with at least an inch of water. Several of my personal items were ruined Even after it was finally fixed the management didn’t seem to care What was also disappointing was that many of the staff were not very friendly or attentive (we have stayed at many Riu resorts and this was our least favorite experience!"

"The hotel is beautiful. The beach was even more beautiful. The pools were nice. Elite upgrade not worth it. The food at the resturants was horrible. The italian resturant had alfredo it was watery milk. The steak hiuse served raw chicken. The elite resturant was just horrible. We ate at the buffet everyday. The staff was vwry hard to comunicate. And some staff was very nasty. Would come to the domincan again but not stay here again. Over all we made the best of it and had a great time."

"A lot of reviews talk about lack of cleanliness or the food but honestly for me it was the complete opposite. yes maybe it wasn’t the most clean room BUT all it takes it a call to your butler or a walk to the front desk, to get your room cleaned, you can always ask for extra bottles of water to your room too. staff is very friendly and don’t push for tips, but they do pour heavy drinks to get you to tip but i’m not complaining. they have a variety of different food and even some places open until 4 am serving food (this is a necessity during a night of drinking) security is also very friendly, as long as your not too loud and aren’t causing damage your free to walk around the resort all night. you also feel very safe and protected on the resort as security and staff ensure you don’t leave the resort, and when you do leave for excursions, that it’s safe and not a scam. overall it was an amazing stay and for the price you pay, your definitely getting what you paid for."

"Resort was a 1/4 full so a lot of restaurants were closed. we have been to this resort 3 times now and for the first time ever, we tried to book a reservation at a restaurant and were told there were no available times. We walked by the resturant at 7 pm and there were more empty seats than filled seats. Was very disappointed at the lack of care in the staff. the other pet peeve, the "Lobster House" does not offer any Lobster - none. No rolls, no tails, no soup, no salad...how can a Lobster House not offer lobster? First world problems i know, was just silly though."
