Ocean Escape is a three-story vacation home in Destin, Florida's most prestigious community of Destiny by Sea, located right on the Gulf of Mexico. Every floor of the home offers luxury features to elevate your vacation experience. The first and second floor each have their own kitchen, and the second floor also houses a lavish living room with a fireplace and plush sofas. The second and third floor each open up to furnished balconies for outdoor lounging and relaxation.

In addition to all the upscale living space, the home also has four bedrooms, each with newly upgraded smart TVs. The first floor has two bedrooms in the form of a king suite with two twin beds overhead and a queen suite. The second floor offers a luxurious king suite. The master suite encompasses the entire third floor with a king bed, a morning bar, a private balcony complete with gulf breezes, a sitting area and a newly renovated bathroom boasting two vanities, a glass walk-in shower with custom tile work and a free-standing, elongated bathtub overlooking Destiny's Lake.

Other perks of this vacation home in Destin, Florida revolve around its ideal location just a short 2-minute walk to the beach with no busy streets to cross! Destiny by the Sea offers a private boardwalk down to the beach for the most convenient access. A large community swimming pool is also located inside the gated community for guest and owner use only. Outside of the community, you'll find the area's famous Crab Trap restaurant, golf courses, outdoor shopping malls, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy your escape in Destin, FL.

The property is great. The security and maintenance staff are very friendly. We had a few maintenance issues that were attended to very quickly. Overall it was a great experience.

First, the location and area is absolutely great! Great community and access to beaches, right in the prime location. The home itself was not in terrible condition, there was a huge ball of hair in one of the bathroom showers, and there were cockroaches on the second level which is the living room, a bedroom and kitchen. The roaches is what gives it a bad rating, this is a HUGE issue for anyone coming to stay in the home. Especially if you were to take them back home with you. They had pest control come and spray while we were there, but it just made them come out more! I feel like when there is an issue such as this, you should be courteous enough to move the guest to another location! The staff was good with responding in a timely manner, but cockroaches is just an absolute NO for me. Never again.

This is a beautiful home in a great location, but the only drawback is that the oven was not working properly and the rental agency did not communicate that before my arrival, so the dinner party I was supposed to have had to be relocated to another place, which was a huge inconvenience and waste of time. Once I contacted the property manager or agency representative she expressed to me in a cavalier manner, that they put a toaster oven on the counter, which should suffice during my family’s vacation.

The entire trip was lovely and the location is prime for beach access. The home overall was lovely. There was a couple outstanding issues, the main refrigerator was not working (which I was not made aware of) so we had to use the downstairs refrigerator in the garage which was not optimal. Secondly there was food items stored in the ice maker in the main kitchen. We noticed after 2 days of ice usage, that was rather upsetting. I have yet to be contacted by management for resolution on these issues.

We had a group of 6 - my wife & I, our dads (for Father’s Day), and my daughter and her friend (12). The house had perfect room for us, lots of space if we needed some quiet time, awesome kitchen for a big group, and the balconies are great for coffee in the morning or a late night drink. I’d highly recommend this house.

This home was absolutely gorgeous! From the decor, to the privacy of being in a gated community, we couldn't have been more pleased. The community pool was just a short walk away and the beach is as well. Five Star Properties was great and even called us to make sure we were having an amazing stay and to offer their concierge services, which we took full advantage of! Thanks so much for such an amazing vacation. We will never forget it!

Four couples shared the house, and it was great. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Open kitchen & den was very roomy. We loved sitting on the balconies. Easy walk to the beach. We can't wait to come back next year .
