You can walk to nearby, freshwater Scargo Lake where the calm water and unspoiled views make kayaking and paddle boarding something special. You're also close to several sandy bayside beaches, where at low tide you can walk straight out on the “Flats” for a mile or more. All along or just off Main Street you'll find extraordinary shops and restaurants. Be sure to check out the Dennis Public Market for its alluring butcher shop and other gourmand discoveries. You'll love dining at the Scargo Café, which you can walk to.
