Lovers of sunrises and sunsets will adore this bright and spacious holiday home located right on the beach in the fashionable seaside town of Deal.

Prince of Wales Terrace is a unique seaside holiday home with stunning views across the English Channel.

The bright and spacious rooms offer a relaxed coastal vibe and have been designed with comfort and easy living in mind. Breath-taking views across to France on a clear day offer a canvas of dramatic hues and tones that will capture your imagination whilst you while away the hours. Snuggle up on deep comfy seating opposite the cosy log burning stove or relax at the sunny dining table and enjoy a glass of something special.

The Space:
The open plan kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has everything you’ll need to prepare a delicious meal. Fish lovers and foodies will want to visit Jenkins, where you can buy fresh local fish such as Dover Sole and Seabass. But if you want a break from cooking, then Deal has many restaurants to choose from including the award-winning Frog and Scot as well as traditional Fish Chip shops and other independent places to eat.

And to work off all the lovely local cuisine, start with a blast of sea air: a brisk walk along Deal Pier, past fishermen trying their luck. Or you may want to poke about the galleries and cool homeware shops or try the local farmer’s market held every Saturday in the town. In 2020 Deal was voted the ‘best place to live in the UK’ by the Sunday Times and there’s good reason for it! In their own words it is a “stylish seaside spot away from the gaze of the week-ending masses” The Times.

The Neighborhood:
Our neighbourhood is unique and special with an eclectic mix of artists, writers and holidaymakers. The area boasts three castles which are English Heritage owned; the famous Royal St Georges golf course located close to the centre of Deal; and lively high street which was voted the best in the UK by the Telegraph. A 12 mile cycle path runs from the heart of Deal all the way to St Margaret's Bay along a beautiful coastline and into rugged countryside that is protected by National Trust. Deal is truly special and we'd love to welcome you to enjoy all that it has to offer.

Getting Around:
The centre of Deal is a 10 min walk to the train station which has a high speed rail link straight into central London. We love to travel by foot or bike, but a car is recommended to explore some of the neighbouring areas.

Other Things to Note:
The house is quiet and tranquil but at the same time only a hop and a skip into the town for buzzy restaurants, bars and independent shops.

We invite our guests to enjoy English tea and local wild fennel coffee which we will leave for you to enjoy on arrival.

We like to meet guests at check-in for a quick tour.

Please note, we can provide shampoo for business travellers only. And this needs to be stated as a requirement when the booking is made.

We are friendly and helpful and available by phone anytime. We live about 5 mins away by car and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Very nice
This was quite expensive, but felt very spacious with high ceilings. View straight out to sea. Parking is first come, first served (and you may need to ask neighbours if you're blocked in), so if this isn't available you have to pay £2.20 for a permit on top of the cost, which we felt could have been included for the price. We were asked to strip our sheets ourselves due to Covid precautions. But it did feel cosy, and a lot of attention have been paid to creating this homely feel. Lovely town, nice restaurant on the pier etc.

The process of booking, check-in, check-out was very simple. Parking was easy to understand. The honesty box supplies were a great touch. Highly recommend this place. So cosy!

The apartment was delightful and was just as the photos and description.
The apartment was beautifully decorated and with an amazing sea view. We especially appreciated the fact that it accepted a pet which is sometimes difficult to find a lovely place That takes a pet. We will definitely stay there again. The owner/ manager of the property sent useful and interesting information on where to eat/ go/ sight seeing. We had a lovely time.
