Lovely house with great views

This is a super house to stay in, 10 minutes walk to a great beach with a bar and at the weekends kayaks and paddle boards to hire. There is also plenty of shade.The house itself is well equipped and comfortable.Miguel is a perfect host and is very speedy in his communication.It is by itself and very quiet. Our adult family had a great time staying here.

Lage, Lage, Lage!

Wichtig und daher gleich vorweg: Wir (zwei Eltern und drei erwachsene "Kinder") haben in diesem Haus ein paar wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Die Aussicht (auch und insbesondere vom Outdoor-Esstisch aus) ist atemberaubend! Das Haus selbst ist es allerdings eher nicht: Es ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Innen riecht es muffig, eine der beiden Klospülungen hakt, die Schiebetüren nach außen schließen nicht mehr richtig, die Tischtennisplatte liegt zerbrochen in einer Art Garage im Nebengebäude und der Basketballkorb ist zugewuchert. Für mich persönlich aber am schlimmsten: die Mücken! Die Fenster sind ungeschützt (keine Mückenschutznetze), die Nächte waren sehr heiß (Mitte Juni, Klimaanlage gibts nicht). Auswahl: Fenster auf und zerstochen werden oder Fenster zu und "erschwitzen". Entsprechend gerädert waren wir morgens (weil wir uns nicht entscheiden konnten ;-)) Lieber Vermieter: Bitte Netze einbauen!! Dann sind die Punkte auf der Negativliste gleich viel besser zu ertragen. Ob wir noch einmal hinfahren würden? Wenn diese Mückennetze drin sind, o ja! Weil es war insgesamt wirklich sehr schön dort oben ...

Magnifique vue sur le Douro

Très bel endroit nature. Proximité de la plage fluviale pour se baigner dans le Douro. La table de ping pong et le baby foot sont un plus pour les enfants. Des moustiquaires aux fenêtres seraient bienvenues.

Maison ombragée avec vue sur le Douro

Certes, il faut faire de la route pour visiter les différents sites mais la maison est propre, bien équipée et il y a une plage à 5 minutes à pieds pour ceux qui veulent se rafraîchir avant ou après les excursions. Le propriétaire est très gentil et disponible.

Une vue incroyable

Nous avons séjourné en famille et avons pu profiter du calme et admirer cette magnifique vue que nous offrait l'emplacement de la maison. Une plage très sympathique et calme également offrant des services de restauration rapide et de location de kayak est à proximité à pied de la maison. Enfin, merci à notre hôte pour nous avoir fait connaître un restaurant simple mais avec un très bon rapport qualité prix géré par des personnes adorables.

Million dollar view

Miguel was very helpful. The house was clean and had all the cooking tools we needed. The road into the property was windy and narrow but they all are in this area. Having supper on the patio with the view of the Douro River! Amazing!! Absolutely loved our stay!

Zomervakantie

Huis staat op prachtige locatie aan de rivier. Het is wel een steile helling van en naar het strandje. Auto is onmisbaar voor deze locatie. We hebben een leuke tijd gehad, goed geslapen en leuke uitstapjes gemaakt. Huiseigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en reageerde altijd heel snel op onze vragen.

Emplacement époustouflant

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la vallée du Douro, dépaysement assuré. La vue de la maison est tout simplement époustouflante. La plage fluviale, atout juste 5 minutes à pieds, est une piscine géante idéale pour se baigner. Le propriétaire est accueillant, disponible et de bon conseil. Nous y reviendrons certainement.
