Fantastic Chianti Villa Hotel
We loved our stay at Villa Il Fedino. A beautiful property in a perfect location with easy access to Chianti and its towns and wineries. The service was over-the-top outstanding, with each family member and staff member being so unbelievably kind and friendly. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. And the team went out of their way to help us make same-day reservations for tastings and dinner. Would highly recommend.

Great Villa!
This is a very nice Villa! Rooms are huge and clean! The breakfast was the best I had in Italy! The family is also very nice! Would definitely stay there again!

Welcoming Villa in San Casciano
Beautiful, authentic Old Villa providing upper class experience. Conveniently located very close to the San Casciano in Val di Pesa, just 40 minutes drive from Florence in the beautiful Chianti region. The host was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is both tasty and generous. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful views. Very quiet. Great location. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, pharmacie, stores etc. Alessandra was a great host. Very helpful to guide us with our activities. 700 yrs old villa so not like a north american hotel but that’s what we wanted

The staff and level of service were amazing. The breakfast was beyond my expectations, really exceptional. They helped us make reservations a few times for dinner at the local restaurants and offered great advice on local places to eat. We also needed a ride to the Florence airport, and the owner drove us directly, which saved us a lot of headaches trying to figure out the bus schedule. I will highly recommend this hotel to others.

Incredible gem
Treat yourself to a 700 year old estate that has been in the same family for the last 5 generations. Alessandra and her husband live here. They are absolutely wonderful and charming and made us feel at home. They staff was there for a great nome cooked breakfast taken with a breathtaking view. The rooms are palatial in the true sense of the word, very clean and very comfortable. The surrounding town is charming and the food there fantastic. My wife and I will find reason to return.

Fantastic historic small inn, located just a few blocks from center of town. Super delicious breakfast with tons of choices including freshly cooked eggs to order. Couldn't ask for a better stay

A wonderful hsitorical villa with beautiful views. The food is great, and the owners are the most hospitable people on planet earth. Location is brilliant, and I cannot recommend Il Fedino higly enough.

Unforgettable
Our stay was unforgettable. Our room was the suite and was amazing.The architecture of the hotel and room made us feel living in old times, with a updated perfect furniture and perfectly clean. Two air conditions having a great temperature in summer. The hotel view is gorgeous. The breakfast is outstanding and the service was great. Defenitly we will come back soon.

You´ll feel like home!
With the great service provided by Alessandra and the rest of the staff, you´ll feel this place like home. Although San Casciano is a little bit far away from the other little towns in Tuscany, if you have a car (which I highly recommend) it won´t matter. Rooms are clean and comfortable, except for the little bath, but that´s very common in all Europe Hotels. Breakfast was good to begging the day (fruit, bread, yogurt, coffee) and views are great. Alessandra provided very good recommendations for our daily itinerary and helped us with everything. Perfect service!

Wonderful time at Villa Il Fedino
We arrived late, about 10:15 PM, but were still greeted warmly by the owner and shown to our room. Breakfast was great every day and we had many wonderful conversations with the owner. we felt at home, taken care of, and had many adventures! Thank you staff at Il Fedino! We will be back.

Wonderful relaxing gem
Wonderful villa. friendly staff who made us feel at home. The grounds of the villa are amazing, relaxing in the hammock with a glass(bottle) of local chianti red bought from reception was pure bliss. The town is very close to the villa with wonderful restaurants, bars, and cafes. There is a regular bus service into Florence which takes around 30 mins and is only 3 euro each way. You can book tours to local vineyard or the local fashion outlet so there is no shortage of things to do, we were happy to chill out in the town and in the villa grounds. The only downside was the wi-fi which was very very slow, this was an issue when we were trying to book our excursions in Florence. We took a taxi from outside Florence station it cost 70 euro, more than we were quoted by the hotel, we did wonder if the taxi driver was getting his hand in, that said we were quote 120 euro each way for a private transfer, unfortunately the hotel doesn't offer a transfer service.

Alexandra owner of hotel along with husband, very friendly and helpful made us very welcome and relaxed in an area of outstanding beauty, very close to village of San Casciano with a good selection of restaurants and close to Florence.

Old world charm
We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa il Fedino, which is a beautiful, historic property set in the lush Chianti region. Our rooms were large and full of character, with the large solid wood doors, shutters, and wonderful ceilings. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean & comfortable, with good hot water. The complimentary breakfast was much more substantial than a typical continental breakfast & a nice touch. However, our hostess Alessandra was the main reason that we will have such wonderful memories of our stay. She was so welcoming and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, suggestions for day trips, etc. She is the heart and soul of the villa, which has been in her family for generations. We look forward to returning. Arrivederci Alessandra!

The Villa is on the edge of a small town which means it gets the best of both worlds. The views of the Chianti Hill, but at the same times local restaurants are just 5 minutes walk away. Allisandra and Cosimo are extremly helpful and nothing is is too much effort for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Tuscany location, fabulous hosts!!
Alessandra and Aman are such warm hosts. They are passionate about their facility because this is a family home that Alessandra grew up in. San Casciano is a wonderful little city just a few miles south of Florence. You can find many great restaurants and a wonderful little bar right in town. this is the heart of Chianti country, so just a few miles (or less) in any direction will get you to a local winery. Alessandra will suggest a nice day trip to see some of the most famous wine cities in the area. we will absolutely recommend Villa Il Fedino to friends who may be visiting this area, and we hope to return soon as well!

We received a very warm welcome at this lovely B&B. Our room was superb, huge, beautiful and very unique. The gardens are pretty with plenty of mature trees for shade and a lovvely pool. The restaurant attached where we had breakfast takes advantage of the stunning views and we ate there of an evening a few times as the food was excellent.All in all a super find and i wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Friendly, helpful, hospitable would sum up the owners. The hotel is beautiful and has the unique charm that the pictures on the website suggest. The grounds, breakfast, pool and rooms are eveything that they say on the tin. The local village is small, but has eveything you need. The number of restuarants to choose from is a little limited, so if you stayed for a long time you may find you need to travel further afield to get some variety, but the restuarants available are lovely and have great food. The location to both Florence and Siena is brilliant, and the Chianti hills are all around for easy access. The only thing against the hotel for us, and this may have been our expectations rather than the details given on the website, but I had envisgaged the hotel to be more 'remote and rusticly located'. The hotel is just on the edge of the village it is in with a road running under the garden, but don't let this put you off, you can only hear the road when you are sat at the edge of the villa's grounds, and the advantage is that you can walk to the local amentities, and the views are still wide and unspoilt.

Villa Il Fedino in San Casciano - close to Florence (15-20 km from Florence) and easy access to all of Tuscany. A car is a must though. We stayed 4 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Friendly owners who go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay - good info on what to do and see. Highly recommend Villa Il Fedino as a place to stay if planning a holiday in Tuscany.

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på detta boendet. Servicen var femstjärnig och familjen som driver detta hotell bryr sig verkligen på riktigt om sina gäster. Frukosten var amazing och de löste enklare luncher på förfrågan och det var bland den nästa msten vi åt i Toscana. Boendet ligger ett stenkast från byn där vi hittade flera riktigt bra restauranger. Mitt emot hotellet finns en cykeluthyrning med bra service och nra cyklar. Trots nästan 40grader i luften tog vi oss fram enkelt på elcyklarna mellan vingårdarna i området. Ska ni besöka Toscana missa inte drtta område och hotell.

Dejligt sted
Vi havde et dejligt ophold, med yderst søde, venlige og hjælpsomme værter, som selv ejer stedet. Morgenmaden var rigtigt god. Vores sidste aften fik vi skøn mad på hotellet, som værterne selv lavede. Dejlig beliggenhed, med fantastisk udsigt, og i gåafstand en lille by med udmærkede restauranter og gode indkøbsmuligheder. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen

La posizione e' ottima, la villa molto bella, il posto centrale e vicino alla zona pedonale. Anche la colazione molto buona. Vniamo alle mancanze : - il wifi non funziona : dicono che stanno 'aspettando un pezzo da un mese', ma la spiegazione mi pare assurda, se e' cosi' devono avvisare in fase di prenotazione - la camera e' grande, ma non e' una suite, perche' con suite si intende un salotto separato - l'arredamento e' datato, meriterebbe di un rinnovo : capisco la dimora storica, ma l'aspetto polveroso va tolto

Siamo davvero felici che abbiate apprezzato la struttura e la nostra colazione.Il pezzo della wi fi è stato davvero un bel problema vista la mancanza globale di chip ma finalmente abbiamo rinnovato tutto il sistema.Le camere sono adattate a quelle che sono le stanze di una villa del 1300' e dunque i 2 ambienti sono separati anche se in un open space. Per 2 camere separate e salotto abbiamo le suite da 4 persone.Speriamo di riavervi qua da noi Un saluto
