Good proximity to key attractions of Chattanooga

Posted 31-May-2017
Pros: Proximity to the attractions of Chattanooga (Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls) and very close to Walmart
Cons: Ambiance, Sufficient power ports, breakfast options and keeping rooms with good fragrance
Location: Very close to the key attractions of Chattanooga - Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls
Knights Inn Chattanooga is close to the attractions of Chattanooga (Rock City, Incline Train & Ruby Falls) and very close to Walmart. So you can get the required groceries easily and plan your trip to the main attractions. It was a bit difficult to trace the location through GPS. So keep a close watch on the name board to reach the hotel. The ambiance of the hotel is not great. We were skeptical as we found some of the first floor room windows were covered by polythene covers. Fortunately we got our rooms in second floor and the rooms were decent, except one of the rooms was a bit stinky. There were not sufficient power ports for charging. The available ones were not fitting our adapters and I had to use the power port used for Oven. This can be addressed by the hotel management. The breakfast options were very limited. It would be great if they could offer cereals and milk in addition to the current list. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a decent hotel (if you are not very particular about ambiance and high end facilities) and value for money.

Not bad

Checking in was easy; however slow. Room size was great and accommodated our family of 5 and dog. A simple breakfast was provided. No problems during our stay.

Bare bones comfort but clean

Posted 07-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The place does not give you a good safe feeling when u first drive up. I almost cancelled. It has the feel of a cheap yucky motel on outside. But inside was pretty clean n relatively comfortable. They skimp on luxuries like shampoo n newer towels n mattress cover n breakfast (just donuts) but for a single night sleep n basic comfort n cleanliness it is fine. price was slightly higher than what you'd want to pay fo a motel this basic but maybe not bad for tourist destination.

Dump.

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Bed was hard as a rock. Gave me a bad backache. Exterior was filthy. Located on a hill behind another hotel (hidden from view). This Dump was not properly maintained.

Disappointed

Posted 20-Jul-2016
It was dirty sheets on the bed and I asked for a non smoking room and I got a room that smelled like smoke. Staff didn't really do much to help the problem. I wouldn't recommend at all!
