          Castle with Stunning Views

Everything about our experience was top notch, from booking through checkout. The castle has several spacious common areas to gather in, and also allows privacy in the various bedrooms spread across three levels. There are plenty of cozy areas to curl up with a book from the circular library room or from one of the bookshelves. The top floor afforded stunning views of the clouds below us and of Okemo beyond. The swing set and expansive lawn kept the kiddos happy, and the location has some nice winds for kite flying. Elizabeth was always within reach to answer any questions and ensure our stay was perfect! A once in a lifetime experience!

              Amazing Castle

Our family and friends enjoyed wonderful hikes and sunsets in the surprisingly cozy castle with a magnificent fireplace for relaxing. We drove in through a snowfall at night and had the magic of a sparkling sunrise. Great skiing and more importantly great home for big breakfasts and dinners with show-stopping views. We visited during Vermont's "mud season", but the roads/driveway were very well maintained. Over 10 days we went from a foot of snow to budding crocus flowers along the rock walls. (And we walked down to the quarry from whence they came!) The Castle was very impressive yet warm and inviting with great bedrooms & a well stocked kitchen. Lots of space to chat or hide away in a library, etc. The owners were very responsive and helpful and we thank them for sharing their home with us!
