Great location great staff. We would have given it perfect marks except that it is “dog friendly” which is awesome, but it also means dogs are allowed in the dining room and the one that was there when we were there barked and growled at everyone all through breakfast and I suspect it was the same one who barked all night. I love dogs, but that was too much. Beautiful room with a box of treats for the dog (biscuits, bowl, a ball and poop bags). Very comfortable room with a dog bed. Delicious dinner in the Wild Hare. Service was good and, again, they looked after Archie with some leftover steak treats. Lovely breakfast the following morning. Friendly staff and top-class hotel. Very clean. We stayed at the hotel for just one night but wished we had stayed longer, the hotel is very pet friendly our room was a chalet type room overlooking a grassed area again superb for our dogs. Our room was excellent and very well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and very clean. the hotel has two dining rooms and you can take your pet with you when you dine in the bar dining room if you wish.
