Worst service ever
I have travelled a lot, throughout North America, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania, and I have never experienced such poor service in a hotel in my life. Our room wasn't really made up, the beds were sort of thrown together, glasses and coffee cups weren't cleaned, supplies of coffee, tea and toiletries were not replenished. We ordered room service one evening and after 10 minutes of the phone not being answered, we finally got through. We were told it would be 45 minutes for a sandwich and a pizza, which it was. We had a rental car company picking us up. They said the front desk tried to call us but we weren't in. when we inquired at the front desk they insisted they had called, despite the fact that we were there waiting for the call. When I said that there must have been a problem with the phone, they said we should have told them that before. Of course we had no way of knowing, but it was still our fault. No apology, no acknowledgement of inconvenience, nothing.
The lobby was filthy, every flat surface was covered with dirty dishes and garbage when we arrived. We dropped our bags and went out for 2 hours. It was exactly the same way when we got back. I have never given a bad review to a hotel before, but I will try very hard to never let any of my friends stay at this place ever!
