This is a modest, small place. Not really a hotel at all - more a case of Pub with Rooms.
We were shocked when we asked, "What time do you serve breakfasts?"
A reasonable question?
"We don't do breakfast!" was the reply.
The (friendly) manager waved her hand vaguely out of the window and told us of a cafe, supposedly a short walk away.
We managed to get milk and next morning, made a cuppa and set of to find the breakfast cafe. After a fifteen minute hike we found ourselves well into Penarth before we found a very unprepossessing place we were not attracted to. We walked on until we found a better place.
Next two days we went in search of breakfast by bus.
The Hotels.com entry says, 'Breakfast available.'
A bus ride to breakfast?
HOWEVER - we enjoyed dinner in the pub in the evening. Excellent, hearty meal.
