The hotel is in an excelkent location. The staff are helpful in many ways. The buffet staff were moving a lot but sometimes you have to repeat what you need several times to get it. The rooms are ckean, the carpets though have seen better days and the bed is way too soft, it causes back pain.

The Pepperclub is a beautiful hotel that is a block away from everything fun to do in Cape Town City Center. The staff is attentive, the rooms are clean, and the conversations with yassin bey are always entertaining. A definite must stay.
My only complaint is we did not sleep well as we were too hot with the duvet on and too cool with it off.
The availability of a top sheet and a couple of blankets would have enhanced our stay immensely.

Nestled almost invisible from sight in the vibrant and eclectic area of Kloof Street, is a laid back oasis of calm and comfort called The Hippo.
Just like the hippo it remains almost hidden from sight, but in reality it is very large when you view the full aspects of this unique little hotel. It offers easy access to the many and varied vibrant Restaurants and Bars of Kloof and Long Street which is easily accessible for any Hippo resident prepared to leave the mud pool of comfort to wallow in the culture of the local splendour of the melting pot outside.
No car is required, for the able you can traverse some of the best parts of Cape Town's dining and social expiriences on foot, just like the hippo, and a short taxi ride can take you to some of Cape Towns most spectacular expeiriences, or the My Citi bus for those more challanged by the financial mud of life.
A jaw dropping hotel, in the middle of the main watering hole in Cape Town, simply irresistable.

"Quaint Downtown Hotel with Amazing Staff & Service"
I am so glad we stayed at this recently refurbished beautiful hotel. Each room is unique and beautiful. It is conveniently located in downtown. The rooftop terrace offers excellent views of Table Mountain and a small pool, fountain, deck chairs and will soon host live music. The breakfast was very lovely, especially to eat it on the rooftop. The bed was very very comfortable and the room was well stocked with amenities.
But the best part was the amazing service and attention to detail. The manager let us check in early and check out late to accommodate our daughter's naps and our flight schedule. They arranged an excellent driver to pick us up and basically made us feel like we were visiting friends they were so welcoming.
nice hotel, room was very clean, staff was excellent during my stressful check in, I only use expedia to book, they kindly signed me into the lobby computer
free breakfast wasn't anything special, nice stay overall, felt safe,
