I will definitely stay here again and am sending my friends! Their breakfasts were also outstanding! Very well situated for a first time visitor, the hop on/off bus was only a five minutes walk! I have stayed in many hotels around the world but rarely do you ever get the treatment as you do at this hotel. Be sure to have breakfast - the food and service is impeccable. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom was upgraded. The V&A Waterfront is walkable (20-25 minutes) during the day. The area around the hotel is quite safe, but being in the CBD there are homeless people begging. The hotel arranged hotel transfers to and from the airport at a reasonable price. Our room was on the street side, so it was a bit loud at night - nothing a white noise machine can't drown out. Staff are nice but the real drawback is the noisy bar attached to the hotel which is super annoying for hotel guests. It does not help the hotel one bit when it comes to creating a welcoming and relaxing space. Perhaps they could turn it into a restaurant instead.
