Large hotel on the seafront with a lovely view of dolphin pods swimming past as you enjoy a lovely breakfast on the terrace restaurant. The room was good and had a nice view of the sea. The restaurant inside was a bit sluggish. It took ages to eventually get our room. Good location though for the V&A and Cape Point.

Excellent location and friendly staff. However, the hotel is pretty worn down and in need of fundamental renovation. Bathroom ceiling lamps lacking glass, a broken off bed lamp, and too worn furniture in a drab grey colour scheme across the board. Another thing that reduced my enjoyment of my stay was that the hotel allows large events for breakfast, meaning there is limited space for residential guests. It also means it fast emptied buffet, a very noisy environment instead of a calm morning enjoying the sound of the waves, plus chaotic service. Not to expect from a five star hotel.
