Very comfortsble and friendly staff First room smelled a little smokey but they moved me right away when I mentioned it.

Canton was our "stop for the night" destination on our way to a youth triathlon in Des Moines, Iowa. We booked a non-smoking 2 queen bed room through Expedia for 2 adults and 1 child. When we arrived at 8:00 pm at night we were given one (1) King bed in a smoking room. When I complained that it was not what I reserved, I was told that it was Expedia's fault and that those kind of errors happened quite frequently. (I use Expedia all the time and have never had something like that happen.) I was told they could not change the reservation that Expedia made and I was stuck with the one bed. After I explained that I was not going to require my daughter to sleep on the floor, the desk clerk reluctantly called her manager and then said they could "upgrade" us to a queen room for an additional $20.00 + tax or give us a roll away for $10.00 + tax. She seemed completely unconcerned that there were three of us and only one (1) bed. We were told to take that up with Expedia. My husband finally found our confirmation from Expedia which clearly said "non-smoking" and 2 adults and 1 child. After further consultation with a manager on the phone, she reluctantly moved us to a non-smoking room with 2 double beds. The clerk was not rude but she was also not very helpful at all and wanted it to be known that it was not the responsibility of the hotel to correct Expedia's error. We were road weary and found the entire experience very frustrating.

It was the only motel in Canton, MO, but proved to be a surprisingly pleasant experience. The staff was personable. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere with the hot breakfast each morning. It was located close to area restaurants and a grocery store.

Well, this Inn is in the town where my daughter goes to school and after dropping all of her stuff at the school we wanted to get something to eat.... (this town is small) so we asked Jeremy the desk clerk and he was very informative and even showed us menu's of the local and not so local... We ended up going to the casino restaurant in La Grange Missouri.. go figure prime rib & rib eye dinners with salad bar and soup for only $21 talk about a refreshing change.. Oh yea and the room was very nice clean and the breakfast was without doubt, excellent

Weekend getaway

This was a weekend getaway for myself and a friend, who was celabrating his birthday. We choose this site because it was centrally located to the Casino and Quincy with shopping. We extended our stay there which was very easy to do with one phone call. They were very personalble and efficient. The pool was open all weekend due to the valentine day weekend. We plan on repeating the experience.
