This is a beautiful house and location! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. It was great to sit outside and watch the water. We even saw a couple of whales just off the shore on our last day.

2nd visit to the Whale House
Loved the house, the beach, the location, the kayaks, the starfish & the friendly neighborhood. Hope to stay there again in the near future!
There was a party of 10 that stayed and there was room for all. The many bunkbeds was a wonderful thought. They throroughly enjoyed the kayaks too. The view is magnificient and we had the best three days of weather. Went to the Tulip Farm and it was awesome. The morning sunrised was unbelievable from the master bedroom suite. Has a great time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
My mother-in-law was absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Whale House. We all had a great time relaxing, playing games, and enjoying being out on the water. Beautiful spot!
Loved the house and the beach, lots of room for our grown kids and our grandchildren. The 2 kayaks were used by all and the kids swam every day. So nice to be able to watch from the deck & patio. Hope to stay at the Whalehouse again next spring or summer!
The property is very well maintained and clean. The mattress of bunk beds are however a little wonky. It would also be nice if we didn't have to get our coffee. Otherwise, we had a great time there and the beach and view is great!

This home was so cozy and calming! We had the best experience and made some amazing memories, we didn’t want to leave!! The views were spectacular and the kitchen and dining spaces were perfect for family dinners. So many things to do in the area we wish we stayed longer to do them all. Book this house!! Beautiful place with lots of room
We loved being right on the water. There were amble chairs on the deck for hanging out and in the living area for meals. So many beds gave us lots of flexibility for sleeping arrangements. The house is stocked with detergent, garbage bags etc (updated from earlier reviews where it noted they only provided 1 or 2.)

Great house
Location was amazing--I saw a ton of wildlife in the water. House is spacious and clean. Note to renters: The coffee filters (and spices, etc.) are in the closet by the dining table, not in the kitchen. That took me a few minutes to find. I would absolutely rent this house again.

Whalehouse is a great find
No-bank waterfront is rare, and the deck and patio right on the water take perfect advantage of it. We were delighted to find that there are now plenty of deck chairs. The living areas are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the upstairs suite is palatial! (Too bad the other rooms are so pokey by comparison.) Our group of six was very comfortable and we found the cost quite reasonable for a place right on the water.
Would have given it a 5 but you really need to have some sort of blinds on the master bedroom. Neighbors can see right in and a bright sun at 5 in the morning. Saw lots of sea animals. Kids enjoyed the beach and such a lovely view.
private, hidden community of longtime beach homes. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling views of the wind-whipped waves. Not enough beach to walk along, due to the king tides and nighttime low tides. House is fine for kids and adults, with a decent kitchen and a huge master suite upstairs.

Tremendous find!
We wanted a place where family could hang out during a wedding weekend. The Whalehouse exceeded our expectations. Right on the beach so we could walk at low tide, the kids could hunt shells and skip rocks. Birds, seals and sealions provided more entertainment. When the wind kicked up, the tide came in and the white caps started rolling, huge driftwood logs paraded by. With a good grill and a well equipped kitchen, you just add people, food and beverages and relax!
This vacation rental is absolutely perfect! So many beds for people to sleep in! Great for a family reunion etc! Super clean and couldn't have a better location! Gorgeous views. Saw dolphins, lots of salmon jumping out of the water, and a couple seals. Kitchen is amazing and has all kinds of dishes, cookware and even lots of spices. Thanks for a great place. Memories to last a lifetime

Peaceful place in a chaotic time
This home has great supplies for cooking, comfortable beds, plenty of space and the hosts make you feel very welcome. The view is spectacular, and the spirit of the whale house is most peaceful and rejuvenating! Thank you for making this oasis of grace available for renting! We will be back soon! Well laid out for children, and adults. The kitchen has high end appliances and gives great space to cook while many people are present. We saw eagles, sea otters, great blue herons and spectacular sunrises and sunsets!
Didn't know that there are dolphins around here. They came by at dusk. Just right off the back patio. We also saw quite a few seal. The house is right on the water. It would be good for storm watching. There's a nice little rocky beach at low tide.
Kitchen was pretty well equipped. Very comfortable. Responsive management. I'd stay again for sure.
We loved the location, the views, the abundance of beds (none of us had to use a top bunk) and three bathrooms!
Wish the master had blinds. Had issues with the kitchen and have provided feedback to property manager/owner. Biggest issues were the mold in refrigerator water dispenser tube and jetted tub (master bath) intake/filter.
Wishes for more hand towels and washcloths and better dish soap in kitchen. Also unscented hand soap for bathrooms would be nice for those of us with allergies. We enjoyed being together, the two tables in the kitchen/dining areas and cooking great meals to share.
Enjoyed walking the beach, the views, and the space to be together. Some found a pickleball court to play on and a wine tasting event to attend nearby.
