I selected this guesthouse for location-quick access to the pyramids. Like people have mentioned the area in which the guesthouse is located is questionable at first glance since your vehicle does not have access to the road. (the locals own the horses & camels which are used for services at the pyramids, so if smells bother you this is not the place). After I did a walk through and noticed the cleanliness, security cameras, and informed the manager sleeps on the premise, as a female solo traveler I felt safe with my one night stay. Instead of exploring Giza on my own, I took advantage of the tours offered. While on the first tour which was a cruise down the Nile, unexpectedly my friends who travelled separately were on the same cruise. This further secured my decision in the services of the guesthouse. The next day I was able to do all the things that my friends mentioned they did not do. After my departure from Giza to Luxor I left my power chargers behind & I thought since my trip ended in Cairo I could retrieve days later. However, Hamad, the manager & tour guide found himself in Luxor on business and met up with me for me to have my items. Things like that dont happen with 5-star hotels.
