"Just had a lovely week at Grisedale Pike in Keswick. Information provided prior to our stay was timely and very helpful and had everything we needed to know. The property was as described, well maintained, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location in the centre of Keswick with access to plenty of walks from the door. Parking was located close by and very convenient. We would absolutely stay again."

"Friendly, well run and well located hotels. Good to be within walking distance of the town and with lively views of surrounding fells. Undoubtedly this historic hotel would benefit from an upgrade and I look forward to seeing the results of new ownership."

"Nice hotel in a great location between Windermere and Bowness. Hotel was clean, well maintained with basic amenities including a bar, car parking, and a restaurant for breakfast. We chose a basic ground floor room with a king size bed, en-suite with a shower. The room was clean and comfortable and suitable for our needs. An excellent breakfast was served daily. With options of full English, Salmon, pancakes, cereals, fruits and breads to choose from. All in all an affordable comfortable hotel in a great location."

Some fairly obvious cobwebs in the ceiling corners and the main light. Breakfast was good although I would welcome some less sugary options. Dressing gowns were provided for the spa but they were about size xs so not exactly coveting normal adult body so bring your own!!"

We had to wait another hour before our new room was ready, which was fine as it was out of their control to a degree. Our only complaint was that we had to ask for a complimentary drink or similar whilst we were waiting.....they should've offered that immediately, guests shouldn't have to ask, it's the least they can do! Other than that it was a pleasant stay."
