"We had an excellent weeks stay at Badgers Rake 12 and would definitely stay here again. Everything in the flat is just perfect and being on the second floor one gets the most amazing views over Ambleside to the fells beyond. Just one thing to be aware of, if walking from the main road into Ambleside, Badgers Rake is up a fairly short but very steep hill."

"Little Parrock is located in a breathtaking location a short walk from Grasmere village. We were able to go on stunning walks directly from the house - Helm Crag, Easedale Tarn and beyond. The house itself has a fantastic kitchen/dining room - ideal for our families cooking and eating together. Very comfortable beds, excellent showers and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Grasmere itself has wonderful independent shops, bakeries and restaurants. Highly recommend."

A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. "We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. "
