A great stay and amazing value!
A really pleasant surprise. It's the first time we've stayed in an Ibis and we would definitely stay again. This hotel is set in a historic grain house so a great use of space and an interesting and novel stay. We overlooked the train line in our room but honestly the high speed trains don't run all night (as some have suggested in their reviews on here) we were not kept awake and my husband is a light sleeper. In fact I can say that I enjoyed one of the best sleeps I've ever had, mattress was great.
The room was spotlessly clean, TV and tea and coffee making facilities, shower was excellent and plenty of shampoo/bodywash provided, nice to see a hotel not skimping on these.
The staff member on reception/hotel customer service was excellent and couldn't do enough for customers. The only thing I would highlight in this review to Ibis management is you need more than one member of staff on to run such a large hotel. Just to ensure your reception is manned constantly and to provide support. The staff member from what we saw did everything, completely unfair from what we observed. Sort it out Ibis otherwise you will lose quality staff!
In summary a great value, clean and well run hotel, less than a stone throws distance from the railway station. Highly recommended.
