The property is exactly as pictured and described. Very clean cabin. The fireplace and hot tub are great perks. The location is not far from Bryson City or Cherokee. The only reason I can't give five stars is the firewood
We were so delighted with our stay at Buffalo Hollow! The property is amazing and easy to get to and use as a home base for our adventures. Our plans got somewhat rearranged due to an impending snowstorm, but the management company was so easy to work with and flexible when our plans changed. Highly recommended!
The cabin was in an “off the beaten path” location. Very nice and secluded-note because of this-the internet is spotty and not much choice on TV (not an issue for our group, just an FYI). View was limited by the trees in front.
Cabin was fairly clean-some dirt on steps and food particles on counter upon our arrival-everything else seemed pretty clean.
Great proximity to Cherokee and the southern entrance to GSMNP. Also this cabin is only 1.5 miles from the Deep Creek area of GSMNP.
Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our near week long stay at Buffalo Hollow. Conveniently located outside of Bryson City, the drive into town is around 15 minutes, close the everything we needed to see and visit. The cabin was perfect, well stocked and comfortable for our small family. Thanks again for creating a great experience.

Buffalo Hollow was perfect for us. The central location made it short and easy drives to all we wanted to do.
Just a couple of things to mention. #1 It was advertised 1 Queen and 1 Full size bed. Both were full sized beds and made sleeping as a couple “tight”.
#2 Upon arrival the doors were unlocked which initially was creepy deep into woods. After “checking” the cabin thoroughly it was all good.
#3 We didn’t do the fire pit because the bush blocked accessibility to the path leading to it.
When we return to the area we’ll definitely look this place up again!
We had two families stay in the cabin. 3 adults 4 teens and one smaller child. There was room for everyone. It was quiet and well away from neighbors and others so when we spent time at the firepit and in the hot tub, we were not disturbing anyone else. The property was close to hiking trails and Deep Creek. We spent a lot of time there. The avid exercisers did all of their exercising on the trails or at the park. Close to town as well. We had one member who needed a reliable wifi connection for a class and the drive to town was easy for that. The wifi at the house could not support the class video. Cell phone reception was spotty, not an issue for us but I know others might need that.
Had a good time with friends at Buffalo Hollow. Beds were comfy. House nicely appointed with kitchen supplies. Both a Keurig and a normal coffee pot. Fire pit is down about 20 steps which was difficult for my wife, who has foot issues. Grill was good. Hot tub was nice and big, under a large gazebo. Lots of wasps and hornets around, but the property has lots of traps for them. We weren’t too bothered. All in all, a good place to get away.
The cabin was very true to the description on line and only a short drive to town. We enjoyed it very much. Took the Polar Express train ride, fun for young and old. Drove to the road to nowhere and walked through the tunnel. Even went to Ashville to the Biltmore. Got to see a little snow on the drive back to the cabin. Overall stay was great. Only issue was very little water pressure in showers.
Very comfortable, peaceful atmosphere (other than the random phone calls when answered no one was there, and we couldn't hear on the phone when we tried to make train reservations). I would definitely rent this cabin again!
My wife and I loved our stay at Buffalo Hollow. It was super clean! The hot tub is automatic and easy to work. A nice firepit is located on the property and the porch is to die for. It is completely private! We loved it and hope to go back!
The Cabin was beautifully decorated. Mostly secluded, which was nice. Mountain view wasn't as great because a few trees were in the way. We didn't use the hot tub because the average temperature was mid 80's to lower 90's. The little road past the cabins driveway leads to a winery. So there was a little bit of traffic, not much. Only issues: more linens(because you are not allowed to wash theirs), wasp nests on front patio, and bats flying around at night on the patio. I normally wouldn't care but it made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful porch and the comfortable seating. I would love to stay here in the Fall. While we were here we took a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain RR. That was an awesome experience. And of course we enjoyed the park. Overall, great cabin, grill works perfectly, great location. No issues with anything on the inside at all. Beautiful and comfortable!
Great getaway location. Views were not great but privacy is wonderful. Kitchen is very well stocked. Location was great for making the train trips in Bryson City.

Awesome
Absolutely loved this place. First time in a "cabin" so I was a little dubious as to what to expect. This cabin is beautiful. Very clean and very well presented, and an amazing location. Defiantly worth the 650 mile drive from Florida, and we will be coming back again for sure. Only negative thing was we had to leave.
