We specifically rented this house for the whole family to enjoy the pool. However, the pool was a little cloudy when we got there and the next day it was turning green so we notified them. They sent a guy and he tested and treated and said we needed to wait one hour to swim. Pool seemed to clear up a little that evening so we swam again. The next morning we looked at the pool and it was super green. So bad that you couldn’t even see the dive toys in the bottom and there were water bugs swimming in it. We told them we were just going to leave a day early because we couldn’t use the pool which was the only reason we chose this house. They offered to send the guy back and I told them the last thing he did didn’t do the trick so if he did a chlorine shock( which is what was needed) we wouldn’t be able to swim for the rest of the day. They said they would check on a refund of that last night. After we got home a day early (and we had all taken a vacation day from work for) they told us they would only refund 20% for that one night. I told them that’s not good enough and they basically told me “too bad that’s all we got” in a polite way. I still have not seen any refund hit my card either. It’s been almost a week. **Warning to others…The house is laid out very odd with two rooms down a hallway with only one exit door. The rest of the doors are locked and there are no windows in either one of the rooms. If there was ever a fire you would be toast.
