Rubbish - do not trust the pictures or details!

Posted 05-Mar-2018
Room nothing like the photos. My confirmation had a picture of a double (which I assumed I’d booked). Room on arrival was a twin. It was shabby and cold. The shower seal was bust so when I put th shower on water went everywhere. Made a polite complaint and was told th manager would contact me. Gave my email and phone number. One week later and still nothing!

Great location and a quiet stay.

In essence , a great hotel. Very comfy bed and well laid out design. Unfortunately the room was far to hot, we had the thermostat as low as possible and the window had to be open throughout the night (in February) . Would definitely stay again though. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was lovely.

Great location only 10 minutes to everywhere

Posted 13-Feb-2018
Pros: Location with ease of access.
Cons: Noise reduction solution around doors.
Location: You are literally 10 minutes to anywhere. The bars and restaurants by the harbour side, milenium square, markets, Cabot Circus and much more.
This hotel is right on the river with easy access to the shopping centre, market and eateries all of which are 10 minutes or less on foot. We didn’t have breakfast but the bar menu looked good and it was fairly busy. Only issue was that you can here people out in the corridor throughout the night.

Pleasant stay in the heart of Bristol

Posted 12-Feb-2018
Pros: Staff, views, location
Cons: Parking
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact you have a 25% discount for parking is helpful but it is still a bit pricey as they don't have there own. I'd recommend staying here and i certainly would again.

Great location with helpful staff

Posted 30-Jan-2018
Pros: Staff, location and room facilities.
Cons: Room 407 noise proofing.
Location: Great location, right in the middle of Bristol. Also, the waterfront is a great view from the rooms.
Have stayed before on business, so decided to stay personally and although I did have a problem with my room, it was resolved quickly and very much to my satisfaction with a couple of free drinks thrown in. Very friendly and helpful staff all round. I will definitely stay again.

Ideal location

Posted 30-Dec-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom was a tad shabby
Location: In a central location so a great base
A nice hotel, situated in a great location to see Bristol, next to the river many of the sights are in a reasonable walkable distance. The room was warm and comfortable, and was relatively quiet,we sadly didn’t have a view (but no big deal) No shortage of bars and restaurants around to suit most pockets. A good breakfast was available, can get very busy depending on what time you go down. The staff were all very pleasant, particularly the bar staff who were all lovely. My only gripe was the parking, the hotel doesn’t have its own car park,so you have to use the NCP car park behind, so even though you get a 25% discount through the hotel it’s an added expense you could do without.

Pros: Great location, staff excellent, but didn't make up for the rest.
Cons: Improve the hotel its in much need of a facelift. Until then drop your prices you are not giving customer value for money
Location: Great location to access all shopping, my wife is disable and we used a mobility scooter, about 8 minute walk to the centre.
Great location, staff excellent. The rest very disappointing, the room tired, carpet around the bed stained (looked dirty) and coming away from the floor, a trip hazard. Room generally looked tired, although tea and coffee in room, there we no other options like mint tea or hot chocolate, non at reception either. Finally breakfast was very disappointing poor food at a very high price. All in all a lot of money (£148) for a below standard hotel and that doesn't include the parking. Mark

Nice location

Lovely location on river front although difficult to park in busy times in multistorey car parks. Staff lovely. Room very comfy. Breakfast selection and temperature of hot food could be better.
